Gracie´s Games expected to win Chepstow Annual Members Handicap (Div II)
Gracie´s Games is likely to win the Chepstow Annual Members Handicap (Div II) at Chepstow in England on Monday, June 4, 2012. The winner of the class-6 event will walk away with a cash prize of £1,617.
The going will be good to soft in the 6 furlong 16 yard race, which is scheduled to start at 18:05 GMT. The speed of all participants will be put to a test, as the distance to cover is not much.
A total of 13 runners have lined up for action at Chepstow and their names are as follows: Gracie´s Games, Yanza, Full Shilling, Flaxen Lake, Mucky Molly, Botanist, Ridgeway Sapphire, Scommettitrice, Decimate, Running Mate, First Class, Simple Rhythm
and Portrush Storm.
Out of the above mentioned runners Running Mate, First Class, Simple Rhythm and Ridgeway Sapphire might not be seen in action today, as the conditions do not suit their running style.
At the moment, Gracie´s Games has got the best chance of winning the race. Although she does not have a good strike rate, she has done well in recent times. The punters will definitely be interested in risking a lot of bets in her favour today.
The six-year-old mare has participated in 36 races until now, but has won just five of them. In addition to that, she has also secured the third place on four occasions, which shows that she has the ability to fight for victories.
In her most recent race, the Richard Price’s trainee finished third overall. There were a total of 12 participants in that event, thus the outcome was not a bad one for her in the end. However, she will need to be at her absolute best in order to outperform
others at Chepstow.
Gracie´s Games will be partnered by Daniel Muscutt in the race. The young jockey does not have a lot of experience and will be under pressure to perform. A victory will definitely boost his confidence, but he will have to be patient in the race.
Other than the favourite runner, Yanza might also manage to make an impression in the race, as she has been doing a decent job in recent times. However, she has won just once out of 19 attempts, which shows that Gracie´s Games’ chances of winning are
greater.
