Gracie Hernandez wins Girls 200-yard freestyle title: 2011 High School State Championships
Gracie Hernandez and Jaxon Williams rose to the expectations of their followers at the 2011 High School State Championships in Redding, California. The results of the NSCIF Masters were published on Thursday, November 3. Hernandez grabbed the Girls 200-yard
freestyle title, while Williams notched the Boys 200-yard freestyle crown.
Gracie Hernandez splashed hard in the pool against her rivals, Robyn Evans, Rose Wyse and Brigid Erlich by clicking the finishing barrier in a scintillating mark of 1 minute and 59.68 seconds to take Girls 200-yard freestyle title. Evans finished second
in a blot of 2 minutes and 02.72 seconds, while Wyse and Erlich settled at third place in a matching time of 2 minutes and 03.76 seconds.
In the meantime, McKena Barker was placed fifth in a mark of 2 minutes and 05.56 seconds, whereas, Kelsey Gardner earned sixth position in a time of 2 minutes and 09.57 seconds. Moreover, Monika Snyder and Ande Baldwin gave their best attempts in the respective
race and wound up seventh and eighth by touching the finishing cordon in a time of 2 minutes and 13.22 seconds and 2 minutes and 13.58 seconds, respectively.
Meanwhile, Sami Sanders earned ninth place honours by posting a time of 2 minutes and 14.91 seconds and Mindi Perez settled at tenth spot by hitting the finishing mark in a time of 2 minutes and 15.14 seconds. 
In addition, the Boys 200-yard freestyle title was clinched by Jaxon Williams in a victorious mark of 1 minute and 50.43 seconds. Joseph Hicks splashed hard in the respective race and earned second position by touching the finishing wall in an impressive
time of 1 minute and 53.82 seconds, while Greg Lennon was placed third in a mark of 1 minute and 54.49 seconds.
Austin Lowry earned fourth position by clicking the finishing cordon in a time of 1 minute and 54.76 seconds, whereas, Matt Lin settled at fifth place in a mark of 1 minute and 54.94 seconds. Finally, Bryan Clements earned sixth place honours by touching
the finishing wall in a time of 1 minute and 58.34 seconds.
