I am trying to reassemble a car seat and am perplexed at where the foam may go on the car seat under the car seat fabric. Does anyone know where this piece of foam goes on the car seat? I looked online for a diagram or exploded view of the car seat and could not find one.

If you are talking about that Styrofoam stuff, I don't think you are suppose to remove it, but it should line up with the harness strap slots on the back of the inside of the seat.

You can buy patterns from places like WalMart and then make it your self
