Grad Plus Lenders?

I am getting ready to apply for a Grad Plus Loan (because the federal stafford $$ available to me won't cover all of my tuition) so I was wondering if anyone has had a negative or positive experience with particular lenders. I know that 8.5% is the fixed interest rate, but other than that I don't know much, and my financial aid counselor said that she is not allowed to recommend a lender to me. any advice??
