  1. 3cm cause if its a right triangal its got to have equal sides (besides the hypotenuse)...at least i think, its been a while...

  2. Let the lengths of the other 2 sides be x&y.

    A/Q     x^2 +  y^2=81

                (x+y)^2  -2xy=81

               x*y=30

    Substituting this value in the 1st equation, we get

            (x+y)^2=61

             x+y=61^1/2

    If x & y are equal,then there values are 30.5^1/2

    If they're not equal den ur problem's incomplete

  3. call lengths of the other 2 sides is A and B

    (A*B)/2 = 15

    A^2 + B^2 = 9^2 = 81 (Pitago)

    then

    A =

    B =

  4. Letting x,y be the sides, then,

    using x^2+y^2=9^2=81 and

    (xy)/2=15, I get

    x=3.64588 and y=8.22846.
