Grade 10 Geometry - Can you help me?

The area of a right triangle is 15 cm^2 and the hypotenuse is 9 cm long. Find the lengths of the other 2 sides.

3cm cause if its a right triangal its got to have equal sides (besides the hypotenuse)...at least i think, its been a while...

Let the lengths of the other 2 sides be x&y.

A/Q     x^2 +  y^2=81

            (x+y)^2  -2xy=81        

           x*y=30

          

Substituting this value in the 1st equation, we get

        (x+y)^2=61

         x+y=61^1/2

If x & y are equal,then there values are 30.5^1/2

If they're not equal den ur problem's incomplete
