Grade Eight and High School?

Question

For all you people that Graduated Grade Eight and moved onto High School, did you guys make new friends? I am wondering this because I am going to be a freshman soon, and a lot of people that went to my Middle School are going to the same High School I am. But I don't really enjoy their company. So will I make new friends?

Diana, you will definitely make new friends. Some of them will be your friends for life. Most of us went through the same thing when going High School, but you will have different classes with different people. It will be great. Just be yourself and be open to make new friends and you will have plenty.

For me, a lot of things changed. People, friends, expectations. A girl who I was best friends with the year before changed a whole lot (high school experience gave her a false sense of power) and now we don't talk. But during that, I gained a lot of new friends and had a great freshman year!

Middle school is very isolated and you really don't get to branch out. High school lets you be yourself and gain new experiences. You have more expectations but that's part of the fun!

High school is pretty much a big roller coaster. You have your ups and downs but remember, enjoy the ride! Good Luck!

Trust me you will make tons of new friends. Don't be nervous, and you'll probably make friends with a lot of upperclassmen, in highschool the grades mix cause the classes are mixed. Just go to school with confidence and be yourself, dont worry.

ok well first im not going to be going into 9th, but i can tell u about when i did. most of my middle school friends went to a differnt school than i did but i made soooo many new friends. its really not that bad, its easy to make new friends. good luck

Yeah definitely! The first days are rough but you will. Everyone I hang out with went to a different middle school. I mean I'm a junior and the middle school drama still follows me but, I can handle it. It's a good way to start fresh. It's awesome. Goodluck!!

I didnt think I would meet so many people, but I did.

I didn't even try.
