I have finished my BA with a 9 grade. (out of 10, with 4 and lower being the fail mark).

To which mark does that correspond in the British system?

  1. I don't think it does - the British system just isn't that fixed. Different universities have different requirements for the different levels.

It sounds like a pretty good degree, though. If you are applying for something with a requirement (of 2:1 and above or whatever) I would just list your grade as-is, with an explanation of what the top grade and the pass grade are just like you gave above. If the requirement is for a first, they might come back to you for more info, if it's for a 2:1 then they'll probably accept it right off.

  2. it doesn't look good at all. you can find out more by using google. dnt worry you'll get a good job with it anyway (i'm not being sarcastic).
