  1. for college hockey all you need is to have like a 1.8 gpa

  2. college hockey all you need is to have like a 1.8 gpa

    Ok?

  3. The average entering grade for NCAA Division 1 in 2005-2006 was a GPA of 3.52.

Hockey has the highest entering average and the highest graduation rate of all NCAA team sports at the Division 1 level.

  4. If the U of M that you are referring to is Michigan, don't bother, Red Berenson prides himself on only taking students with GPAs above 3.8 and in the top 20% of the SAT and ACT.  An 18 on the ACT puts you in the bottom 50%.

  5. depends on the college (def not ivies or most of hockey east)  but its easier for coaches to get schloarships for students who wont fail outta school and it depends on how good you are...check out MN, ND and other places out west those colleges arent as selective as eastern schools

  6. Man efff the Hockey East if you want to go places go to the WCHA.

  7. You're probably not going to get a full ride scholarship... but maybe

Edit - He's talking D1 hockey. To play D1 hockey you have to get into a... D1 worthy school. so no, 1.8 gpa is definetly not high enough. Maybe for D2 or D3, but not D1.
