  1. FIrst off know somethings about what your grading etc.

    Comics

    Title,Issue #, Volume Number, Publisher

    The grades are

    Mint

    Near Mint

    Very Fine

    Fine

    VEry good

    Good

    Fair

    Poor

Next Check for defects. for example

Tape, Stamped dates,Subcription creses,Water damage,Missing pieces, Rusty Staples, Folds wrinkles, Rolled spines Writting on the cover.

Tape- Takes down grade to Fair at best

    Staines- no better than good

    Writting- no better than good.

Idealy you have a comic price guide as a comparison for prices in which the comic you're wondering about has been traded and the adverage is listed for you.

You will take this adverage and multiply it times the condition of your book.

I all acutally. it depends on your conditon of your books and what book.

Barnes and nobles have a few price guides. i use Comics buyers guide standard catalog of comic books. this book shows pictures of several conditons to look for and how to multiply values and which value they are using as a base.

I'll give you an example of one of mine.

Uncanny XMen # 8 vol 1 By Marvel

it give a near mint value of 360 dollars

I have a little bit of writting on the cover. so i would take 360 times 12.5 percent equals 45 dollars  so my comic is actully worth around 45 bucks. Since i bought it for a dime. I made a great deal. email me at jkebert@hotmail.com if you need anyother questions and another example let me know.
