Graduation Parties.....?

Question

I would like to hear from any one who could let me know what do they remember that made their graduation party memorable for them. I don't mean alcohol or gifts, I would like to know what your parents had or did to make your party worth remembering. I am giving my son a graduation party (high school) and he is a hard person to please, I want to make sure he and his friends have a good time and its something he will always cherish. Any food idea's would be nice too. I don't plan on spending a lot of money on food, just want to get something I know all will enjoy. I don't plan on getting a D.J or anything like that, we will be playing music but not sure what yet. Any idea's on anything will be appreciated! Thanks!!!!

My daughter graduated last year & we had an Open House that way people could come and go as they please! She had many friends that had parties also that day! I made a lot of different appitzers and kept them stocked. They just visited, I had pics of her growing up all over the house & also something for everyone to sign!

a party?? mmm... little sandwiches or tacos is and idea or cooking spaghetti or pasta

well for food, you cant go wrong with a bbq. cook up some hamburgers and hot dogs and grab a couple bags of chips and maybe some soda, make some lemonade and find out from your son what kind of things he would like at his party. just to get some ideas from him.
