Graduation Party help?!!?!?!?

so.. i'm having a grad party towards the end of june, but i need some ideas... what should i do really!? lol it's still up in the air as to whether we're having it at a hall or in my backyard. i have a pretty big yard so its not really a problem to have it at my house. what are the pros and cons of having it at each place? should there be music... we're lookig for caterers, what exactly do you do at grad parties?

well depends on finances, but most are typically an open house kind of thing. That is if your having one during the day. Now if its at night and more for you and your friend then ya get music. I had two,(way back when) the one during the day in my back yard for my family and parents friends. Very boring..more of an open house thing....and then one that night with my friends...we had a bond fire, ate the rest of the food, more of a typical loud high school party

do it at your house no need in spending money on renting a place out. there should be music just play your favorite songs or whatever is popular among you and the people you invite. i know that at a graduation party i went to a few years ago there were water ballon fights that was fun you could play limbo or really what would be fun would be a hawaian luau theme! good luck and congrats on graduation!
