  1. If you like Mexican then I would go to Salsa on Carlton Place.  The staff are really friendly, service is speedy and the food is AMAZING!  Ooooh, I could go a burrito right now :o)

  2. How about the Ubiquitious Chip on Ashton Lane or 78 St Vincent St:

Also the City Merchant is nice as is The Buttery (used to be my fave).

Book in advance as they might get busy.

  3. Would tend to agree with earlier answer, the Chip in Ashton Lane is pretty good. Also the restaurant at 1 Devonshire Gardens is excellent (sorry, name escapes me at the moment). I guess it depends how much you want to spend and how formal you want it to be.

For less formal dining, 55 (St VIncent St) is pretty good.

  4. TRY "SNOOK'S STEAK HOUSE"

Unit 18 Westburn Centre Kelburn Street

    Barrhead Lanarkshire G78 1LS

    Tel: (01418 760229)
