Graduation party-raining?

i planned this grad party on the lake and the main thing was going to be swimming. thre are going to be quite a few people there so it would be inconvenient and pricey to relocate. also, i cant reschedule because so many people called off work for it. any suggestions? i suppose i could try to get them to swim in the rain?

rent a tent as backup just in case of rainso you can still hang outside- always helps for shade from the sun also if it's hot! don't worry about people missing out on the swimming.

If there's lightning, you don't want people swimming, or even sitting outside! ....  If they will still have to be outside if it rains, you might consider renting a tent - but expect there to be some last minute cancellations, if people  know it's going to be an outdoor party

well, maybe you dont have to get them to swim, you could sjtu have a party and when everyone gets into the fun, tell some one to jump in, and maybe everyone will fallow, thats what happens when my parties get rained out, just make sure you have lots of areas for the people who want to stay dry, and yummy food.
