According to New York City Board of Education u must have 44 credits to graduate from a New York City High School.(http://www.insideschools.org/st/ST_gradreqs.php)Im moving BACK to New York City [queens] to finish up my Senior Year and I noticed that on my transcript I only have 24 credits. But, I passed every class that I took [ex. 8 classes/year]. 8 * 3 is 24. So how can I possibly obtain 44 credits in high school. Does this mean that if I go to high school in New York City that I wont graduate on time??How can a student in New York obtain 44 credits??How do classes in New York City work??Can someone please clarify with an in depth/ honest answer.
