Graduation/ summer party ideas?

i'm going into highschool and having friends over this summer, what are some cool fun stuff to do at my party becuz so far i only have a couple dvds and movie.

i don't like theme parties so no freaking hawaii theme or whatever themes ppl suggest on here and we're not big on games at all.

i have a lake nearby me but we're not allowed to swim or fish in it.

so what can i do with the party if we don't like themes or games?

also the BBQ is not working so none of that. maybe we can go somewhere after the dvd for bowling or somthing idk i just need more ideas of stuff to do.

So after seeing the movie and lounging around eating and stuff then you need an activity of some sort.  

See if there is a group training dogs or horses in your area..  go and watch as it is usually free.

Call your local Chamber of Commerce to see if there are any activities going on around town.  

Go to a Flea Market/Antique show or maybe to some Garage & yard sales.

You could always go roller skating...  but look out for sore bums if you don't know how to skate....  (smiles)

The fun thing about parties is just being able to spend time with your friends. Pick food that is easy, fun and tasty and have lots of it. That goes a long way to having a great party. Food that people interact with will get your guests moving and talking. Like personalizing ready to bake pizzas or having a sundae bar. If you aren't into games set up some lounge areas with chairs and tables so people can talk away from the music and have a dance area if you're into that.  You can have things in each area like Hollywood with fan magazines or a mani/pedi with stuff from the dollar store or a sports them if that is your thing. Maybe a crafty type area with flip flops and craft stuff to personalize them.
