English star spinner, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/James-Taylor-c66127 has the talent to do well at the international level and hopes the young batsman could help his English side overcome its concerns with the lower-order.
The 22-year-old was named in the English squad against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013’s fragile lower
middle-order.
Bopara, who was on his fourth Test recall into the national squad had to pull out at the eleventh hour, cited ‘personal-family reasons’. The 27-year-old failed to capitalise on the opportunity to cement a place in the Test side, registering disappointing
scores of 0 and 2 during the first Test at the Oval.
Taylor, the 5’5” http://www.senore.com/Cricket/RS-Bopara-c2373 to bat at the number 6 position for England this year alone.
The youngster, who made significant impact in the county circuit during his early stint with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Leicestershire-c807, has continued his imperious form after moving to Notts last winter, and immediately made his mark by scoring a century on his debut for the county.
"He [Taylor] is good off the front and back foot and he can deal with all kinds of bowling. He has the attributes to be a world-class batsman," said Swann.
Taylor was appointed the captain of England http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 recently. He is already considered as one England’s finest batting prospects.
"He'll be nervous and he'll be excited but I'm sure he'll be ready and raring to go. He's a cracking player and a lovely lad as well," 33-year-old off-spinner said.
