for the home team to win the series and earn the top spot in International Cricket Council's Test rankings.

Tendulkar, who failed to make an impact in the 1st Test at Lord’s, is geared up to compensate the loss by scoring extravagantly in the next games of the series. In the last match, Tendulkar contributed 34 and 12 runs respectively in the first
and second innings of his team which lost the game by 196 runs.
The English bowlers delivered marvellous and magnificent performances at Lord’s and Swann hopes to extend this thriving momentum to the next games as well.

dismiss Tendulkar.
The 32-year-old right-arm off-spinner has 33 Test matches with 142 wickets to his credit. He made his Test debut against India in 2008.
