Grammer question please helps its about linking verbs?

Question

in each of the following sentences i need to know the linking verb and the two words that connect to the linking verb

1. Are we still friends?

2. Are all deserts hot and dry?

these are the only two sentences thanks for your help bye

2. Are is the linking verb?  DESERTS and HOT AND DRY are the linking verbs.

I'm not sure quite what you mean by linking verb, but here's what I would say.

1. Are we still friends?

i. Linking verb = "Are" (the only verb there)

ii. Two words connecting = "Still friends" (?)

2. All are deserts hot and dry?

i. Linking verb = "Are" (only verb)

ii. Two words = "hot" and "dry" (although, could be anything??)
