  1. Ok, not from Spain, myself, but I lived there when I was in University.  (I lived in Sevilla).  I'm gonna guess that the University is entirely (except for advanced English classes) taught in Spanish.  There wasn't a single professor in Universidad de Sevilla (my classes were about Spanish) that I came across who taught (or for that matter, knew anything about) English.  I would expect that the English studies professors would be proficient, but that's all.

I know there are a lot of exchange programs that are based in Granada, and you should have little trouble finding lodging.  You would look for an apartment or a 'Residencia' which is like a boarding house.

Economy in Spain is pretty strong these days, the Euro is high, and inflation is a challenge.  A lot depends, of course, on what money you will be bringing with you .  The $US is really low, so expenses are pretty high for US citizens.  Try checking out Sí Spain website for up to date info.  http://www.sispain.org/english/index.htm...

    are also pretty good websites.

    And try these  - http://granadainfo.com/english.htm

    http://www.academicintl.com/spain/granad...

http://www.ugr.es/   (official website of the school itself)

    Best of luck to you.
