Grand Final Question???

Question

Should the NRL Grand Final & as a matter of fact any of the finals games, be played under lights.

Or should it go back to the old days & be played in the afternoon.

And what is your reason why?

to hot in the arvo? aren't these guys professionals, what do you think all the local blokes do every week end all over Qld, and they aren't as fit or have the support that the top level players have.

Sunday grand finals were sweet. have BBQ with all your friends cook lunch and watch the reserves play then all sit down to watch the big one, it was whole day event and great for all the family.

I hate the night grand finals. went down and watched one, sucked.

kids get tired want to go to bed.

why did they change it anyway?

Oh no - keep it under lights.  I remember oh too well standing on the SCG hill drinking beer and falling off my eski (Manly over Cronulla ...).

In the cool of the evening you can drink much more beer, even if they don't let you take an eski anymore.

I thought the idea of God teaching us individually was the "Grand Final Question".  But I must be mistaken ?

i think it should be played in the arvo cause there was nothing better than inviting your mates over in the morning firing up the BBQ having a few beers, enjoy a massive lunch then relax with some more beers then watching the best game of the year. hold up a minute make that the best game ever....

All I can say about this is that if I was still a kid I would not be allowed to stay up and watch the GF.

It's too hot to play the games in the arvo; especially up here in townsville. Plus night time just has a magical kind of atmosphere about it that's missing during the afternoon. Finall to the poster above me, when I was little I wouldn't have been allowed either but now I am older my parents make it a special exception to the bedtime rule.
