The 2010 Formula 1 championship has been a spectacle in its own way with dramatic races followed by the most unpredictable conditions the sport has ever seen for years.
With just 1 race remaining, the grand finale will take place at the Yas Marina Bay Circuit in Abu Dhabi and it seems that the championship has finally reached its climax.
With all 4 competitors vying for the championship, the last race of the season promises to be a thrilling one.
Currently, Fernando Alonso looks the strongest contender with 246 points while the two Red Bull drivers Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel are currently in 2nd and 3rd places with 238 and 231 points respectively. McLaren driver Lewis
Hamilton is in the 4th place with 222 points.
McLaren’s second driver, Jenson Button was ruled out of the championship after the Korean Grand Prix where it seemed that the British driver wasn’t even trying to compete against his rivals. Button finished without any points and therefore fell way behind
the top four.
Red Bull has a better chance of winning the drivers’ championship since both of their drivers are in the title race, but will face a serious challenged by Ferrari and McLaren.
The 2010 Formula 1 is especially important after FIA introduced a set of new rules and regulations for this season.
With only 25 points left in the 2010 season, it would be interesting to see who wins the fight for “the precious” award at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi this weekend.
