Grand Vellas, PV - how would you rate this hotel?

i'm finding mixed reviews about Grand Vellas, Puerto Vallarta.

we're looking for a 5* experience and this place certainly charges the price, but how are they compared to the 4 Seasons for instance? has anyone ever stayed here and would like to share their experience please? thanks.

Four Seasons in Punta Mita is much much nicer.

No hotel can beat the service of a 4 Seasons resort but I think Grand Velas will do very nicely. They are rated #1 with the many visitors to Puerto Vallarta. They have 24/7 room service and their spa is top notch. They are recipients of the the AAA five diamond award. If that means anything to you.
