Their mother is off on drugs right now she comes and go's. the two year old's father is getting out of prison Friday (3 time felon) he wants to take the girl. At first everything was fine I was going to keep her and he just wanted to see her (and he needs to she needs to know her other family) but now he's demanding I bring her to him Sunday and he said I could see her every other weekend (he lives across state & I can't afford to drive that and I'm soupposed to do all the driving he has no license) what should I do? what can I do?

  1. If he has legal custody of the child, then it isn't consider kidnapping.  Grandparents doesn't have rights akin to what you are after.

  2. If you are serious, contact a lawyer IMMEDIATELY.

You need to get a temporary order of custody and/or an injunction against him to keep him from taking the child.

Don't depend on YA to give you the help you need... find a lawyer immediately.

  3. I agree if you seriously havent contacted a lawyer yet you shouldnt be here, thats ridiculous.Im 14 and i realise that.
