Question:

Grant Gloves problem?

A few weeks ago I ordered the Grant professional training gloves and After the first use of them, The inside of the glove ripped. http://www.grantboxing.com/detail.aspx?ID=22619

They had a weird all white interior and everyone said that the grant gloves are all red on the inside. How could this 120 dollar glove be so cheap? I sent them back to ringside, and They sent me out another pair and guess what? They were also white on the inside and ripped after the first use of sparring and I am not a hard hitter. Fair enough I called ringside and They guranteed me Good gloves this time and said they were going to double check the next grant gloves they send me if I was to want them replaced.

I have two choices now

1.get the grant gloves replaced http://www.grantboxing.com/detail.aspx?ID=22619

or

2.get the title pro mex training glove

?

  1. I have title gloves and they have always served me well. I would get them.

  2. If i was you I'll stick with Grant Gloves. Their the best in the buisness and have the best grip. Grant gloves are suppose to be all red in the interior i don't know why yours are white inside. If you were to re-order them tell them to send you Grant Gloves with red interior inside. They may be sending you a bot-leg version of Grant Gloves and riping you off. Make sure they send you the right pair of Gloves and are real authentic Grant Boxing Gloves. Pro Mex isn't that bad either but since you said your not a hard hitter I wouldn't advise you to buy Pro Mex gloves. Hope it helps and stick with Red interior Grant Gloves there the best.

  3. If u can get a refund order Reyes gloves, they are without question the finest boxing gloves made. I still have my bag gloves, headgear, protector and 16 oz boxing gloves and after 22 years of use they are still in mint condition which amazes me.  I used Tuf -Wear and Everlast when I started boxing and they fell apart. Until my trainer had me order from Reyes. I have never had to use any other brand since, and u can see and feel the quality when u use them. When I boxed I hit very hard and the gloves stood up to it. Thats my advice and I hope it helps.
