The place I am working at is closing. The line I was working on is being shipped over seas to China. I heard that i can get Government money to pay for my schooling and help with bills. Is this true? If so, where would I look it up or find information on it at?

  1. Okay I'm not sure where you are from but I live/work in North Carolina at the Department of Social Services.  There is a federal program called the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and when companies close down and you are laid off, they come in and you can be admitted to the program and if you qualify they will sometimes pay for you to go back to school.  My best advice is to contact Social Services and see if that program exists where you live.  Hope everything works out!
