  1. Hi

I'm afraid in my area this is a very local thing. And, of course, this changes by summer weather and region.

Adverts are placed locally during the week before picking is expected.

Here is a typical ad :

    Bonne chance

  2. Many offers are centralized at ANPE (www.anpe.fr), the administration in charge of matching workers with employers.

From the gome page, click on "Recherchez des offres d'emploi !"

Then in the first text box, type "VENDANGEUR"

On the second and optional third box, chose a region or département (or all of France).

Click on button "lancer la recherche"

On the next window click on "valider"

Then you'll have results, given by type of contracts. What you are looking for is "Contrat tout public - Contrat travail saisonnier" (seasonal work). Then you can browse each offer.

Each offer will specify whether lunch and/or accomodation is offered. At the bottom of the page, you'll find a contact address or email for sending a résumé to the local ANPE branch.
