  1. y intercept (0,8)

    slope -4/1

    x intercept (2,0)

  2. You want to rewrite this in slope intercept form:

    y = mx + b

    Where m equals the slope and b equals the y-intercept.

    y = -4x + 8

    Now you know the slope = -4

    And the y-intercept = (0,8)

    Now you can easily graph this equation using just these two pieces of information.

    Mark a point at (0,8) and then go down four points and over (right) 1 and make another dot, then from there go down 4 points and over (right) 1 and make another dot. Now line up these three dots and draw your line, and you've graphed this equation using its y-intercept and slope!

    Have a good day!

  3. y=mx+b

    y= -4x+8

    X......Y

    -2...16

    -1...12

    0.....8

    1.....4

    2.....0

    I think that's right, but just make sure the slope is positive!
