  1. i got cordinates x 0 y -2

  2. Start at -2 on the y axis. Then go up 2 and to the right by 1 repeatedly

  3. The y-intercept is -2, so plot the point (0,-2).

    Find the x-intercept:

    0 = -2x-2

    2x = -2

    x = -1

    Plot the point (-1,0).

    You've got two points, which is enough to draw the line.

    Graph the line. y=-2x-2?

    The first thing you will do is to make y = 0 & x = 0 so you will know the corresponding value of x & y respectively. This will be the point in the line.

    Start:  y = -2x - 2

    y = 0

    0 = - 2x - 2

    -2x = 2

    x = -1

    y = 0 & x = -1

    then x = 0

    y = -2(0) - 2

    y = -2

    x = 0 & y =-2
