Graphic Design As My Career?

What is the education and training that is necessary to get into graphic design? What about college or a training school? What kind of high school prep. do I need?

An Associate degree in applied science is all you need to get started, but most people get their bachelors.  As far as high school, make sure you are good in math and science.  You need to be great at math.  

Also, if you school offers any type of art appreciation class, that's a plus.

try to take a computer graphics, 2-D design or basic drawing class

they all come in handy
