Graphic Design School?

I am attending a community college currently and and still considering my next step far as college. I am majoring in graphic animation and wondered where is the best college or how is the best way to get noticed by film companies like Pixar or Dreamworks?

To be honest, it's not so much where you get your degree but how good you are. Pixar has their own animation programs and tools that they would train you to use if you didn't even go to school. Places like Pixar look for creative individuals that can give a story that people can fall in love with. Your main concern is what exactly you want to do when it comes to animation. There are many different jobs to do. They do not hire someone to do the animation, story line, character creation, molding, graphing, all of the above blah blah. I have a friend that works there and he and a group of friends came up with a quick animation. He came up with the Character idea's and story line. So don't focus on where to go to school to work for companies like that. My friend just took some design classes and didn't major in it. It has to do with your individual talent. Good luck
