Graphics card, with duel monitors ?

Question

If i wanted to get two monitos one to do computer stuff and the other to watch tv, (without buying another tv) would it be wise to get another graphics card ?? and how would i get tv on the other monitor is it a hardware i have to buy ?

You need @ things: 1 - a video card with 2 video exits (even the most crappiest one has VGA an tv-out, almost all have 2 DVI) and 2 - a tv tuner like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...

Connect the second monitor, open Start, Control Panel, Display, Settings, select the  2, put the native resolution for it and tick Extend the... . Now you have dual display.

Install the tv card and its software. If you want to see tv (or any other stuff)  just open the tv player, drag its window to the second monitor and make it full screen
