Graphics on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas?

Have the graphics for san andreas always been so crappy or is it my Xbox 360?

I think you've just gotten used to the "next gen" graphics, so older games like GTA SA look like c**p. Because is used to think that GTA SA had the best graphics ever, then i played it like a month ago and it looked horrible...

idk it was before when "Liberty sTORIES came out.  I think the graphics are the same

The Xbox 360 uses an emulator to play original xbox games, not the original Xbox itself. A game will always look better on it's own console.So, even though SA's graphics were crappy in the first place, it is possible that your Xbox 360 is part of the problem.
