How do I graph ordered pairs (of my choice) on my TI-84 Plus Silver Edition? Is it even possible?

Thanks!

  1. Hi,

Go under STAT and EDIT and enter your points' x coordinates in L1 and the y coordinates in L2. Then go to STAT PLOT and turn on PLOT 1. Make sure that PLOT 1 is set up to use L1 and L2 as x and y.

If your window is large enough to view all the points you entered, when you press GRAPH, you will see your points.

If you only want to graph a point or 2, you can also go under DRAW, move over to POINTS, and select Pt-ON(. Enter your point's coordinates with a comma in between, and press ENTER. That point will show up. If you want to enter another point, hit [2nd], [QUIT] to leave the graph and go back to the main screen. Then go back under DRAW, move over to POINTS, and select Pt-ON(. Enter your new point's coordinates with a comma in between, and press ENTER. That second point will show up on the graph. Your window must always be set large enough so that the point will be visible.

    I hope that helps!! :-)
