Grass and weeds growing up through brickwork driveways?

Hi,

I live on a street that is owned by a housing association, the whole area is only 5 1/2 years old (it was developed on old dockland). A number of the brick worked driveways and the part of brick worked road outside my house is really starting to get a lot of grass/weeds and moss growing up through the bricks, it's not too bad at the moment but is noticeable and will only get worse. My question is: If this is left unmaintained, will it eventually damage the driveways/road? Should I contact the association to come and sort this out or just leave it?

  1. You should get the association to spray Roundup. This will kill weeds for up to three months.

  2. Buy some Pathclear and spray it. Job done. 6 months.

  3. yes, contact the association.  grass growing through brick drives and roads (especially moss) can get slick when it is wet.  Probably some Round-up ( or another weed killer)  sprayed on it would knock it out of your personal driveway.

  4. I would call and see what can be done..I promise you if you had something wrong on your property they would be sending you letters and giving you a hard time.
