I need help, I would burn it, but I don't want to accidentally set something on fire.

  1. If the grass is dead but is so wedged that you can't grab it,  try a thin dandelion-removal tool. If that's too thick, try a gardening knife.

Before you repave or resurface, you want to make sure any seed under the driveway is dead. The easiest way to do this is to mix a nice batch of saltwater (household salt is fine) and soak the ground through the cracks.

This should prevent anything else that's already there from taking seed.

If you do not intent to repair your driveway, other stuff will grow in the cracks. Bird droppings carry seed and, when you mow, if cut grass gets on the driveway it can contain seed. Be sure to blow/sweep the driveway immediately after a mowing to help prevent reseeding.

    Good luck.

  2. try using a wire brush to scrub it away.  It sounds crazy but usually works.  After you get the grass out, you may want to consider sealing your driveway so you don't have this problem next year.

  3. Round up will take care of it

  4. You need to get rid of it permanently so use a translocated weedkiller such as Roundup or Pathclear. These will kill it off right through the roots. Pathclear will stop anything else growing in the same space for a few months.

It'd be a good idea to repair the cracks in the driveway after getting rid of the grass or something else will grow in its place.

  5. Pull it out then use bleach or round up
