How do i remove grass stains from jeans?

I heard soaking the stain in vinegar b4 washing works... is this true?

Also, does it matter how long the grass stain has been there... like if I got the stain today but decide to wash it like 2 days later will it still come out or is time a factor here as well?

  1. I would NOT use bleach on jeans!

As soon as possible, pre-treat with Shout, Spray and Wash, or even put a little laundry detergent on the stain.  It is ok to let it sit for a day or two if it has already been pre-treated.  Spray it again right before you wash it, and I would wash in warm water.  Before putting the jeans in the dryer, check to make sure all the grass stain is gone.  If not, spray and wash again.  That should do it.

  2. well the longer you wait, it will set more. so yes time is a factor. Try running your jeans under super hot water.

  3. BLEACH!!!

  4. i use bleach.

If you do use bleach, make sure you dont use TO much.

  5. You could try using bleach, but not too much!!! Soaking the stain in vinegar b4 washing works. It's true. It does matter how long the grass stain has been there. Don't wait more then 1 day. The same thing happened to me and when I washed it 2 days later it didn't come off. Only a little bit. It was still noticeable.
