Grass sticking to weels of lawn mower?

some times when i mow the lawn grass would stick to the weels and then leave a deep mark when i mow. does any body know how to stop the grass from sticking to the weels?

  1. Mow when it's dry - best advise

    Sounds like you have cool season grass, which has a fine blade.

    You can also replace your tires with slick tires if you can find some that will match your mower.

    I have also heard of people spraying dry silicone on the wheels prior to mowing.


  2. Yes mow late in the day when the grass is really dry.   It also prevents grass build-up underneath the mower, which will make it cut lousy.
