Do you prefer thick garvy of thin gravy or none at all?

  1. i like mine thick, with no lumps


  2. Gravy should be a real vegetable stock added to the meat juices.  Once the gravy is in the pan, finely chopped onion should be caramelised in a separate frying pan and added to the gravy for thickening.

    NEVER use powdered muck from a jar.

  8. always thick, i make it with a little oil, then add some flour to make a little paste, then add a oxo cube to hot water, then add to paste, and simmer, and then add some onions,or chooped herbs or, at christmas, a spoon full of cranberry sauce.

  10. The consistancy of pouring cream, made properly, with stock etc  mine is wicked, I sometimes add cream to chicken gravy yummy!
