Gray wolf no longer endangered?

So I heard the other day they are going to take the wolf off the Endangered species list.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

What do you think?

Do you think they will ever be safe?

  1. There is no way that it can last being unendangered. They attack livestock and threaten farmers so farmers have to defend thems. Sadly, killing them is the easiest way.

  2. Its bad because they will probably be put on the list again.  Without the protection they will probably be shot when then encroach on occupied land.  How do these animals know to stay out of a backyard.  They were here first.

Its like the Grizzly bears in California.  there are none left.  The california wolf is basically gone.  Wolves and bears are animals that should never have the protection taken off.

People get scared to quickly and shoot versus taking the real precautions to protect thier land.  IF your worried about you dog then put them up.  Put up a good fench that the wolves cant get through instead of being lazy and shoot the animal when it gets close

  3. comsidering that they have been re-encroaching on occupied land in Canada and there have been two attacks on humans this year, I think they are doing fine for themselves.

  4. it is so good cause i dont wont a stupid wolf killing me do you?

  5. I think it is a very bad thing...not enough time has been given to see if thier populations will hold.  Even while endangered, many have been shot and killed...what is going to stop people from killing them now..when there is no threat of going to jail.  I think they are going to have to be re-introduced again in a few years...once again costing millions of dollars, once the current population is killed off by ranchers, hunters, etc.
