Question:

Grease off of gas stove burners

We have an old gas stove. The burners are caked with old grease, even degreaser will not cut it. What can I use to clean these? I tried brillo, but it is still really really tough to get off. I need something to get some of it off, then scrub the rest.

  1. Try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.  I run mine through the dishwasher occasionally to keep them from getting too dirty.  They're also not too expensive to replace if they're too far gone.  Good luck.

  2. yes, try the oven cleaner first. if that doesnt work they sell a pumice stone in the cleaning supplies area that is used to clean really tough stuff off of stoves.

  3. easy off oven cleaner maybe
