Question:

Greasy fringe products?

My fringe gets greasy much much quicker than the rest of my hair. I wash it in the morning and 4 hours later it looks horrid. I very rarely touch it so that's not the problem and talc powder is not very convenient.

ARE THERE ANY PRODUCTS (eg SPRAYS) THAT WOULD SOLVE THIS? I sort of heard some spray from John Freeda - any more details?

  1. Heres a homemade hair remedy which should work for greasy hair:

LOVELY LEMON RINSE FOR OILY HAIR

    What You'll Need:

1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice

After shampooing, pour the lemon juice oover your strands. Massage in for 1 minute, then rinse with lukewarm water. Your hair will be clean and sparkling. Suitable to use every 2 weeks.

  2. this might be because of your skin. If your skin is sometimes greasy and your fringe is swept over your forehead, it will sometime make your hair greasy. mine is like that. i would get something for your face that reduces greasiness, and on the off occasion clip your fringe back.

  3. unfortunatley you cant get any sprays to resolve greasy hair, but what you can do is use a shampoo and conditioner which is made for greasy hair. theres loads of different ones, just go to a store and take your pick! also , try only conditioning the bottom of your hair, and not the roots or fringe, because they get enough moisture allready.

hope this was useful!  good luck x

  4. Do not bother with John Frieda, waste of money. Typically if you wash your hair once a day, that is the problem. First of all, try to wash your hair once every other day, and simply water your hair between the days. Then, dont put the conditioner directly on the scalp, at this will make it greasy. Leave in the shampoo as well for about 5 minutes, and then rince throughly. Try to comb once every 3 days, and make use of tying it back into a ponytail during the day, and letting your hair hang down when sleeping. Hopefully these tips help. (the talcum powder really doesn't do a lot).
