  1. This happened to me before, when your washing your hair make sure to get rid of all the shampoo, if you leave a little bit in it will stick to your scalp and it will tend to get greasy.

In some cases, the type of shampoo you use may make it oily and greasy, and if you use conditioner, make sure you get everything out, sometimes conditioner makes your hair greasy so try not using conditioner next time.

  2. Only thing i can think of is nits (sorry)

Or maybe youu arent using the "right"type of shampoo

  3. I find that using less shampoo helps a lot. I used to load on the shampoo and my hair would get greasy really quick, but if I use less it doesn't even get that greasy before I wash it again (which is every 2-3 days).

    Good Luck!

  5. I have the same problem! sometimes its oily even like when im just getting home from school, and i wash it around when u do. I heard blow drying it helps, and so does using less conditioner. It may be genetics.

Someone also told me to not wash it for like a week i forget why though!

  6. This can occur for many reasons. You have either Washed it too much in the past or possibly have very greasy skin try a dry shampoo it smells nice and you can leave washing your hair for longer if thats what you want. Also the temperature in your house may be too hot Like falky scalp only occurs mostly in winter because you turn up your heating. try a dry shampoo or a shampoo especially for greasy hair x

  7. my hair used to be like this but instead of washing it every night, which was a right pain, i didnt wash it for two days and my hair didn't become as greasy so quickly because it wasnt used to getting washed as easily, and now i can wash it every 2/3 days

  8. Rub some baby powder into it.  The powder absorbs the oil.

  9. Check the type of shampoo/conditioner you are using. I had the same problem, mine said 'for dry hair', so it was adding unwanted moisture. (Try one that is for greasy hair) Then, make sure you are washing it out properly. Apparently you should spend 6 minutes rinsing your hair with clean water after applying shampoo/conditioner. If everything fails, ask a chemist or hairdresser for advice.

But, naturally, different hair types get greasy faster/slower than others. (Specially in puberty.. ?)

    Good Luck xx

  10. use a shampoo specially for greasy hair nd less conditioner.wash it less and try not to brush too often as brushing stimulates the grease glands in your scalp.can be age related more common in puberty.good luck sorting it out

  11. My hair is like that too.

My hair's really damaged, so I can't wash it everyday.  What I do is wash it every other day, and on the days I don't wash it, I still take a shower, and just rinse it with hot water. It makes my hair look like I washed it.  I guess it just washes the grease off.

  12. How old are you? Its natural for people between the ages of 9-14 having greasy hair just because.

  13. wash it again.
