Great Britain = Royalty?

If one were to do a quick survey of this forum, you would think that the term Royalty belonged to England. Hardly anyone speaks of other nations. Apparently, Americans only know what their schools teach and a bias exist in this nation.

Thats not true, the Saudi royals and Japanese royals are more famous than the british royals because they are richer and closer to the US.

The term royalty does belong to Great Britian. As a fellow American I care greatly for the British Royal Family and view them as Americas Royal Family and would even welcome Queen Elizabeth II and her successors as my head of state.

It's not so much the schools, honestly most Americans only know about the British royal family because that's the one we hear about all the time in our papers. And on a few occasions when we hear about other royalty like the "Italian prince" on The Bachelor, we don't know if they are real princes or fake, pretensious ones. That Italian prince only had royalty in his background, Italy hasn't had a reigning royal family for years. There's only 29 royal families in the world.

There is a missing royal from israel.It has something to do with the catholic pope from 1978 before pope john paul ,which you can look up on the internet,he the pope before john paul created a spider-maybe it was a storm because of the war in the 1940's-the clue is it had waves like the ones in israel,please send a comment to me if you feel like what you think.This is about history-in britian and why there is not many other royal countries.

England is famous for its Royals. But,dear questioner,as an American,I can tell you that there is a great website at http://www.theroyalforums.com that covers worldwide Royalty,like Madeleine of Sweden,The Grand Duke and Duchess of Luxembourg,even deposed Royals like ex-King Constantine of Greek and his daughter-in-law,scion of American millionaire  Robert Miller,Marie Chantal. She is one of the famous Miller sisters...but she is famous only to a group of people who read about fashion,society,the international set...those who read Vogue,Town and Country,and foreign publications like Point de Vue,Paris Match,British editions of Hello,Vogue...

I am American and was educated in private schools;French was spoken in my family as well as by other families in my school which was French in background and also an internationally based school...it depends on the social background of Americans as to what their knowledge of other countries may be,because not all schools are equal!
