  1. Gleeson played terrible against New Zealand but keep him in as I am an Australian

  2. so why are you asking then...we won,t win who ever is in the team

  3. like all sports the Poms are no good

i am in Sydney and going this weekend the only concern i have is how long the beer line will be

    Aussies all the way

  4. LILLY has it spot on there.

stop picking players on reputation/which club they play for and out of position and start picking players in the right positions who are on form regardless of who they play for, perfect example of this is the best 2 wingers in super league this season have been raynor and aspinwall who were picked in the squad, but come to the game and we get a guy who has played stand off all season in a team that has won everything this season playing on the wing, why pryce and long werent the first choice half backs for GB when they have been for saints is beyond belief.

also we have o'loughlin playing at 13 where he has for most of the season been poor in a poor side, yet we have the best 2nd rower (wilkin) left out completely so ellis (who has played 13 most of the season) has to move to 12 to accomodate for o'loughlin!

  5. Stop picking players on reputation rather than their seasons performance.

Why in God's name Andy Lynch wasn't in the squad I have no idea (yes, i know he's broken his ankle, i was there) but the point is he was in the "reserve" squad. What a load of toss!

I personally would call Deacon up and use him as a benchman, purely because Long doesn't seem to be able to last the full 80 without blowing a bit.

Newton has become a more complete player since his switch from Wigan to the Bulls and is a far better all round hooker than the incresingly tubby Cunningham.

Briers isn't all he's cracked up to be, at Warrington he's a big fish in a small pond....he's good because the Wolves don't have the personell of teams such as Saint Helens, Leeds, Bradford and Hull.
