Great Heavens geared up to win Fillies’ Stakes
Great Heavens looks to be in great form before she is going to participate in the British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing E B F Maiden Fillies’ Stakes today, May 10.
The Class 5 contest over a distance of 1 mile, 3 furlongs and 101 yards is scheduled to start at 5:20 (GMT). For the prize money of £3,558, the John Gosden-trained bay filly will confidently compete against Amaraja, Bite Of The Cherry, Jorum, Monshak and Plumbago Blue.
Great Heavens is leading the betting market at the moment. The three-year-old novice runner performed nicely and finished 5th against 14 competitors in the only race of her career on September 24, 2011. This was indeed a fabulous achievement that made her a blue-eyed runner of the punters.
Moreover, the fantastic filly possesses the rich legacy of Galileo and Magnificient Style. Her inherent racing capabilities along with the favourite tag will help her break her maiden in the Stakes.
If Great Heavens keeps her stamina intact and runs to her best, she will surely have up to 90 percent chances to finish first in today’s marathon.
Amaraja is also strong enough on the card. The Sir Henry Cecil-trained bay filly grabbed 8th position against 13 runners in her first and last race on April 20, 2012. The young and energetic sprinter has also gained reasonable odds in the market. She can easily give a tough time to Great Heavens.
Monshak is too expected to perform well against her strong competitors. The Sir Michael Stoute-trained bay filly is just going to stage her debut today. The brilliant daughter of Monsun out of Woman Secret has undergone many training sessions before deciding to step into the sport arena.
In the light of the above statistical analysis, it is predicted that Great Heavens will be able to pave her way towards victory convincingly. Though Amaraja will show some resistance but the hot favourite filly is likely to outdo it.
Let us get ready for an amazing action. Good luck to all the contestants.
