Great Job offer but 30 miles or 90 minutes via Mass Transit Away?

I was offered a great job and it seems like a real great company but it would take me as long as 90 minutes via car, bus, METRO with a transfer, then a six block walk to get to the office. It seems like it would be so much work to get to work each day. On the other hand the boss seems great, pay is competitive, coworkers friendly and company progressive.

What do you think about killer commutes for a real good job?

I have another offer for less pay but is only two miles away.

figure out how much it will cost you to commute, your extra time to commute and walking in all kinds of weather. Is that extra pay worth it.

I personally don't think it's worth it unless the job is SUPER good.
