  1. This looks hard but is really easy. You can make it with either ham or turkey slices. Get them as thick as bologna. Get some frozen broccoli spears and heat them up a bit in the Microwave.  Make sure at least that they are good and thawed. Wrap the slices of ham or turkey around the broccoli spears and secure with toothpicks. (Make sure you tell your brother to pull the toothpicks out before he tries to eat this.) Put these in a casserole dish that you've sprayed with Pam or something like that. Take a can of condensed cheese soup and pour it over the broccoli. Bake at 350 until it's heated through (anywhere from 30-45 minutes, generally). It's called "Ham Divan".   Or if you know how to make your own white sauce, make it and add a lot of sharp cheddar cheese instead of the cheese soup. Serve with warm rolls. And applesauce or slices of cantaloupe.

  2. Spaghetti and meatballs and/or sausage: they make pretty good frozen meatballs these days, and you could use those; If you want to make a good Italian chicken dish: how about chicken marsala...only thing is you need marsala wine...you could use the stuff in the vinegar and oil aisle of your food store, it isn't quite as good as the real stuff, but does the trick....its pretty simple: get 6 boneless chicken b*****s (skinless too) cut into cubes; get a 12-16 oz  package of mushrooms and slice them up after cleaning them; 2 cans of chicken broth (14.5 oz or thereabouts); some Wondra flour (its usually in a small canister, blue in color, kept in the regular flour aisle) for thickening the gravy....Brown the chicken in margarine all sides golden brown; add sliced mushrooms, saute, stirring often; add the chicken broth, bring to boil, lower heat to simmer slowly about 15-20 minutes. (Use a deep 12 inch skillet to cook in); when mushrooms look cooked (they get dark in color and soft looking); turn up heat to boil and add 1 cup marsala wine; let boil a few minutes, turn down heat to medium and sprinkle wondra flour over the whole top....light touch, don't add too much.....stir and watch to see if it thickens...can add a little more flour if needed....serve over rice or egg noodles or thin spaghetti and a green salad.

  4. Spagetti is Super easy to make even though it doesnt seem so easy all you need is sauce and noodles ..maybe some meatballs...garlic bread is also easy to make just melt some butter and add a little garlic poder brush it on the bread and stick the bread in the oven.

if u want somthing a little more difficult you can make lasanga all you have to do is layer noodles, sauce, and cheeses (after the noodles are partially cooked) and put it into the oven for awhile.

  5. You could do ravioli, that's frozen so all you do is boil it until it floats.  Then for sauce you can use canned alfredo or tomato, just heat that up on the stove.  To make it a little fancier you can add frozen vegetables, and garlic bread with fresh shredded parmesan cheese.  Hope that's helpful!  I usually make cheese ravioli with spinach, diced tomatoes, squash, and zucchini in tomato sauce with parmesan cheese.  It is delicious!

  6. spaghetti and meatballs

  7. Try making this pasta arrabiatta recipe - it is easy and DELICIOUS, but a little spicy, so don't make it if your family doesn't eat spicy food.

       Salt

      1 pound penne

      1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

      4 cloves garlic, finely chopped

1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper (eyeball it)

       One 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes

Flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped (a generous handful)

      Freshly ground black pepper

Grated Parmigiano-Reggiano or Pecorino Romano cheese

    1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Salt the water, add the pasta and cook. Drain the pasta...

    2. While the pasta is cooking, in a large, deep skillet, heat the olive oil, the garlic and the crushed red pepper over medium-high heat. Stir in the tomatoes and heat through, then stir in the parsley and simmer for a couple of minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.

    3. To serve, pour sauce over the pasta and sprinkle with parmesan

This would be a yummy dinner served with a ceasar salad. You could add ground beef to the arrabiatta sauce if you want, just cook it with the garlic and red peppers, and make sure its all browned before adding the tomatoes. Also, the longer you simmer the sauce the better it tastes.

    Good luck!
