  1. Have a look at these study guides.  They should give you some ideas about your question and help you with your work with this novel.

  2. Mr. Trabb - the village tailor - had a worker boy - and this was him.

You can read the whole book and other works by Charles Dickens in:

    http://www.webliterature.net/literature

And the coverage of Dickens and many other classic authors in this site is comprehensive (and the site is also search-able, so that is good in a sense).

  3. It's Trabb's boy. Mr. Trabb was the tailor in the village near which the forge was situated. Trabb's boy was not his son, but his worker.

Trabb's boy, though a lowly worker, considered himself equal to Pip, because Pip was only from a family of blacksmiths. Trabb's boy used to do things to annoy Pip, like sweeping dust over him. It didn't matter to Trabb's boy that Pip suddenly came into "expectations" and was to become a gentleman; he still believed Pip no better than he.

One of the places you can read about him is http://www.online-literature.com/view.ph... - this site allows you to search for words and phrases in any work they have online.

    I hope that helps.
