  1. higher a tarot card reader/psychic to give readings at the party. Have fog machines and strobe lights and good music to dance to. Play a scary movie on a projector. Believe it or not I'm a teenager and I still think classic games that get everyone laughing is fun...like bobbing for apples, carving pumpkins. make these games a contest and have a cool prize. good luck

  2. Alright....

Some ideas form a previous party..

-Keeps lights off. Use lots of candles to create a dim, creepy affect.

-Buy dry ice, to make the room smokey/.

-Print of black/white photos of "old portraits", frame them on the wall (you make poster/paper frames, to make it cheap)

-Fake-webs -all over the lights/frames/ everything

-& someone once used yards of cheap dark fabric...They ripped/tattered it...& pinned it up for curtains. It was creative.

You can make the place look dark, old, renivated...Get some old dusty books stacked.

Sketch a random body print on the floor, (with tape, not chalk) like they do in crime scenes

Play some music that sounds creepy like:

-Or the sound of floors/stairs creeking.

Since they're in highschool- avoid games like bobbing for apples. Instead, rent some old scarey movies. Or recent scarey movies-if you approve. Eventually they'll probably want music to dance to, or whatnot.

Also, check out Spencers at a mall, for black lights, or other lighting affects.

Then all the food- they have recipes to make creepy halloween food. hope you have fun!

  3. Scavennger hunts are getting big lately.  See if some of the neighbors want to get in on this:

Make up a scavenger hunt around the neighborhood.  Instead of candy, they get the c**p scared out of them.

Certain houses will not be available for trick or treating for whatever the reason.  Ask those neighbors if you can their property for a scary lot.

Here's some ideas for backyards:  (Don't forget the fog machines)

    1. Haunted Graveyard

    2. Crazed Property owner who shoots blanks (that would be the limit)

    3. Chainsaw chase (Make sure they take the chain off first)

    4. Zombie field

    5. Maze

    6. Battlefield

If you can get garages or confined spaces:

    1. Slaughterhouse

    2. Big Crime scene

    3. Locked room and fill with "gas"

You just might be able to invite more than 20-25 people; but its also one to impress.

Start early though.  Now is the time to get sites.

    Hope this one helps,

    Have fun
