it a point to be proactive throughout the match, and was always on his toes. He mentioned the fact that the Turin outfit relied on their flanks to get the crosses in, which was a reason why he came off the line on many occasions.
He also analysed on the state of affairs within the squad and mentioned that the team are playing with better confidence and higher motivation then before. He was quoted to have said:
“Juve created a lot of play down the flanks in the second half, so I tried to come off my line as much as possible to help my teammates. The psychological state of the squad has changed recently and when we feel like that, we can play better and with more
confidence. I’m glad to say the game with Juventus was the first time this season we’ve really felt San Siro fired up for us. We players need to feel the support of the fans at this moment to get back to the level of recent years.”
